I have been looking to grass seed a small area in my back yard. It is about as big as 1/2 half of half of a tennis court. Now that it is fall, I have seeded it with a winter rye. To help with nitrogen fixing for the perennial seed. In my research, it is recommended since I live in the high desert (7000 feet elevation) that a bluegrass / red fescue / rye mix is best. Should I start that seeding process now, and should I use this mixture? Any suggestions are appreciated!!
