All help is not good help - Lawn Care

Help! My DH decided to help out with the lawn - Something he never does - So he fertilized the lawn today with Halts. My heart almost stopped because I planned to aerate and over seed next week. My question; can I still over seed or do I have to just wait until next year. I know that Halts has a pre-emergent that will prevent the new seeds from germinating. However, I wondered if I waited a few weeks I could still put down some seed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

90 days before you can seed, minimum.

Thanks andy, I suspected as much. Unfortunately, I had a few wire-grass areas that I used round-up on at the beginning of the summer to prep for the over-seeding. I guess I'll be stuck with the bald patches until next year. The transition from winter to summer is pretty short here but I'll try to over-seed at the very beginning of spring and keep my fingers cross.
Thanks again

Seed in the spring - shouldn't be a huge challenge if you use the right products through the summer.
