Tifgrand Bermuda Problems? (Pics Included)

So I've mowed the new sod for the first time, updated pics below (current day is at the bottom)..

I'm noticing some brown spots which I'm assuming is just scalping (although I mowed correctly, no more than 1/3 off) but I want to make sure there is not another issue (we've had a ton of rain at night)

There are a few spots like this, should I take action or be worried?

Also, quick question... The landscaper put lime and fert under the sod, should I fertilize again it soon?

They look like scalps from a lawn mower. You don't really need to worry about them, all you need to do is spot water them and they will come back. I had this exact same problem with mine but over time they will go away. How tall are you mowing yours?

I just got some Tifgrand along with my dad. Your problem looks like Army worms. My dad got them first. I have never seen nor heard of them. They wiped out all of my dad's. Army worms suck..lol! You can get a grainular application that will take care of them.

@ like2grow_n_mow.... Where did you get your tifgrand. I had the same problem, entire lawn was completely eaten by armyworms. I had to use about two years worth :( of chemicals to kill them.

Hey guys, thanks for the replies. Luckily I don't think I have army worms, sadly I do have a lot of unevenness in the yard and that's causing scalping to occur when I mow.

Thinking about leveling with sand next spring when it starts to green up...
