| Can somebody tell me what would be the latest recommended date to overseed?

| Depends on what grass you are trying to grow. Zone 4a tells us your low temps, but it doesn't tell much else. What town do you live in? Today would be a good time to seed, as it's getting a bit late for you, and depending on when your first frost hits, it might be too late already, especially for KBG. |

| KBG and yes I'm worried that if I didnt do it in a week it would be too late. I live in Rice Lake, WI. |

| ASAP and pray for a winter like last year, or dormant seed this year before the first snowfall. You really want at least 8 weeks before your first hard freeze for the grass to mature. |
