Hot water will help, but in a hose end? I think I'd spread the stuff finely and let the rain work on it for a few months.

I guess the question here is why are you applying 3 oz per thousand square feet? Or, what problem are you trying to solve, because that amount is of trivial impact.

Still working the light-green color issue. Given the root-cause (pun) is high pH... I'm supplementing based on the soil/tissue reports. I'd like to re-test... But I'm still seeing sulfur pellets in the soil which would skew the results to be unusable.

It's going to be at least six months until that soil settles enough for testing--I wouldn't reliably be able to read anything until after that point, and I'd still question it a bit even then.

For now, add absolutely nothing except nitrogen to feed the grass. You overdid the sulfur badly, don't set off a chain reaction in the soil with the sulfur bonding to everything else that gets put down. It won't be pretty.
