Any idea when it was cut at the sod farm?
The worst sod I laid and still grew in was like the pale yellowish green squares in the upper left of the picture. Don't spray any weed suppressor yet as you are needing to grow roots right now for your bermuda. Hand pick it if it bothers you but even those weeds should wilt since it has no roots either.
Keep up with the water and check ever 3 days under the sod. pull up very slowly and carefully to check for roots.

Could you email these pictures to the owner if he doesn't arrive in a timely manner?

Unfortunately I don't know when it was cut. I spoke to the owner who also said to keep up watering and he will come round Monday to have a look. The weeds can stay as they are for now.

That looks nasty. In time it will come around but it should be nice and green right now.

I thought it looked nasty too, but wasn't quite sure what is acceptable for new sod this time of year. Wanted to get some second opinions from this forum. I am meeting with the owner on Monday and will then clearly air my dissapointment in the quality. They do have a 60 day replacement policy for any brown patches, provided you watered according to schedule. Will not be recommending this company to any one.
