Weed Killing Fertilizer? New Lawn?

Hi everyone I have planted Tall Fescue (planted September 14th) on my front bank renovation and was wondering if it would be ok to apply a Winterizer Fert with Weed Control (in November) to subdue some of the rising clover and other weeds? Would this be a bad idea for the new lawn?

I have two thoughts on this.

The first is that in general, it's better to apply fertilizer and weed killer separately. They sell them in one product for marketing purposes and ease of use, but if you fertilize first, the weeds start growing actively, so when you hit them with the weed killer a week or so later, it's more effective.

The second thing is that you should wait until you've mowed the grass three times before using any weed killer n the lawn.

Ditto bp. Fertilize this November, then next year in the spring you can spray something like 2-4-D or better for the weeds.
