| Yesterday I over seeded my yard. And also put down fertilizer.
Today Its been raining since morning and I think we had almost 1 inch of rain since morning. Is all my over seeding efforts wasted? My yard is flat. But can heavy rain affect the seeds? Should I put down more starter fertilizer? Do you think my starter fertilizer is washed away?

| As long as the seed isn't washed away, it should be fine. If you got a lot of puddling, that can sometimes cause the seed to float and get redistributed unevenly. I would apply another application of starter after you mow the grass for the second time. |
