Help with planning a schedule for my lawn

I was wondering if anyone could help me by laying out a schedule for my lawn. I live in Roanoke TX 76262 zip code. I have a hybrid Bermuda lawn, and a whole lotta weeds. Any help on a schedule and what type of product, when and how much to apply would be much appreciated.

Thank you,
Charles

Okay,

So I went and found these two pages,

The Texas Bermuda Bible
http://forums2.gardenweb.com/forums/load/lawns/msg081902511912.html

and

http://www.uaex.edu/Other_Areas/publications/PDF/FSA-6121.pdf

These two are quite similar and helped me come up with a good idea for what I should be doing.

Next question that arises, What does everyone use for their pre-emergent for grassy weeds, for broadleaved?
I found suggestions that anything with Dimension does well against grassy, and Anything with Potrait does well against Broadleaved. Any other suggestions? Do I need to go to a specialty store to find these, or will they have appropriate items in the box stores?

How about what everyone is using against for post emergents for the two types? I didn't really find much on this.

Again, any help would be appreciated.

Charles

Read this about preemergent herbicides.

Once the lawn is in and established, there are three elements to lawn care: watering, mowing, and feeding. If you are doing those wrong, you are likely opening yourself to weeds. If you are watering more often than once a week, then you are asking for weeds. If you are mowing bermuda higher than 2 inches in the deep heat and higher than 1.5 inches the rest of the year, then you are asking for weeds. If you are not fertilizing bermuda monthly with a high N fertilizer, then you are asking for weeds. It's all in the Bermuda Bible.
