Help Identify this grass-like weed-NJ

Hello all. new to the forum. I have been battling this grass-like weed for several years, but it doesnt seem to be impacted by anything I tried. it likes hot weather, seems to do very well in wet areas, and spread like wildfire...
The best time to differentiate it is during the spring and fall when it's in seed. Attached are are few pics of it in seed. What is it???? And how do I get rid of it???
