When Should I Mow an Overseeded Lawn???

Hi,
I live in central Massachusetts and recently had my lawn aerated, overseeded and feed with starter fertilizer.
The seed has began to germinate nicely, standing approximately 1/2" tall.
The existing lawn is getting long.
When should I be able to mow the lawn?
Thanks

Wait until the seedlings are more like 2" preferably. Technically, the seedlings should be roughly 1" taller then the height that you are going to cut it to, but with an overseed, that doesn't work too well. If you must, then you should be able to mow now without too much damage.

What kind of mower? Push, walk-behind, zero-turn? If you do chose to mow now you will have to be extremely gentle.
