Germination rate and age - too old?

I'm doing what I'm hoping (but knowing unlikely) is the last reno in my yard. I've done one each year in quadrants. In the front, I did a KBG blend of Blueberry, Bewitched, and Prosperity. At the same time, on the patch across the driveway, I did a TTTF mix of Firecracker LS, Spyder LS, and Raptor II.

Over the summer, the TTTF won me over by texture, drought tolerance, and color.

That said, I have 20 or so lbs left of it and want to redo the KBG side as well as a large reno in the back (that one's ready to go - leveled, soil test, amendments. Waiting till next Saturday).

Question is, the test date on the old TTTF seed is January 2012. It's been stored inside the house out of sunlight since last summer.

Here are the numbers:

33.33% Firecracker LS - Germination 95%
33.21% Raptor II - Germination 95%
33.11% Spyder LS - Germination 90%
Crop - 0.00%
Inert - .35%
Weed - 0.00%

Given that it's well over the "ten month rule" I've read about regarding viability, I wanted to hear your thoughts and experiences. Have you planted older seed? What's your experience? Should I up the rate to compensate?

I could order the same blend again from Mt. View, but it wouldn't be here when I'm planning to seed (planned vacation).

Thanks for the input.
