| I bought my home 3 years ago and the lawn was in really tough shape. I'm surrounded by pine trees which I'm pretty sure adds to my soil woes. My first PH test came back at 4.5. I added the recommended amount of lime and did a test the next year and it was 5.0. Again with the lime and now I'm at 5.5
Even though my PH is rising, I can't keep up with the moss that's spreading. It's everywhere. I've used the liquid iron, Moss Away, Moss out, etc, but it seems like it's a losing battle. I'm ready for drastic measures at this point. If I were to pull it all up and replace the soil with some compost, and other nutrients, it would only come back, correct? Is there anything else I can do other than add lime, which after 3 years doesn't seem to be helping? Thanks! |
