| I seeded this fall, and have new grass "seedlings". I noticed yesterday some of it is rather light colored, so I put down some Milorganite. My dogs are obsessed with it and digging in it. I realize now that it was a very bad idea, but it's too late now! How long will it take the smell to go away? I hope soon, before all my new grass is ruined! :-(

| Unfortunately Milorganite doesn't behave like synthetic fertilizers. There are many variables determining it's breakdown rate; temps, water, soil microbe activity are all factors in breakdown. Also your dogs have a great nose, so even if the smell is undetectable by you, they will probably be able to smell it with no problem. |
