Thank you all for all of the information you have provided.
Just a reminder of the condition of my lawn I have attached a couple of photos.
The lawn is thick, but lacks color.
It suffered from red thread, dollar spot and has a lot of dead materail in it.
Again I live in central Massachusetts and I am switching over to organic fertilizers and soil improvement products.
I want to use Jonathan Greens Organic Fertilizer 10-0-1 and JGs Love Your Soil, Love Your Lawn now, prior to adding a syntheic winterizing fertilizer mid November / Thanksgiving.
Will the JG products be beneficial if I put them down this late in the lawn growing season?
And if I have a thatch and or soil compaction problem wilI the JG products help the soil conditions?

I am trying to get a handle on the right time and methods to use.
I am just confused on how to move forward in getting the lawn to improve and grow healthy.
