Rolling lawn after new seed germination?

Three weeks ago we went through the process of re-seeding our lawn, including spreading a topsoil/compost mix and rolling the lawn after spreading the seed. We've been watering regularly and the grass is coming up well.

The issue is that even though we did roll the lawn before, we either didn't do it well enough or used too much soil/compost. When walking on it (lightly!), I can feel the ground compact a bit under my feet.

My thought was that rather than having small indentations being made all over as we walk on the yard (and the eventual mowing possibly creating tracks), maybe it would be worth re-rolling it now. Or maybe that would crush newly forming roots and be a bad idea.

Any advice? Leave it as it is and maybe readdress in the Spring? Roll now?

Thank you!
