| I visited my MIL. She over seeded 3 weeks ago. I asked her how much seed she used? she said 3 bags of 20LB.
Each bag seeds 4000 sq ft. She used 3 bags. I measured her yard and roughly 3500 sq ft. So she roughly dumped 3 times the seed her yard needs. What will happen next spring? Is her yard will be extra thick and eventually everything will die off or is the yard will be OK? Is there anything she can do to minimize the damage?

| It likely won't make much difference. I usually put down seed at a higher than recommended rate. |

| What kind of seed did she use? ( Ex: TTTF, KBG, Ryegrass) Different grass seed types have different seed rate requirements. |
