| 1. Yes, when it's 3 inches tall, mow it down to 2 with a very sharp blade, and bag the clippings. Careful when you make turns, do them on the driveway or neighbors lawn if possible. 2. I would probably stay at twice a day for the next week if it's sunny and dry. Obviously with periods of rain you can shut it off. 3. I would fertilizer after you mow it once or twice which should be towards the end of the month. 4. Winterizer gets put down when topgrowth has stopped, which is weather dependent. Probably around the end of November, or sometime in early December for you. Be sure to use all quick release nitrogen. I have read late season N applications on new grass can raise your incidence of snow mold, but where you live it probably shouldn't be an issue. 5. Not much, you have a nice lawn started, good work, looks very even. Next year it will be darker and thicker. |
