| What grass is this? My lawn is in bad shape from underwatering this summer. What I do have is some of what's shown in the attached picture

| I have a little of that stuff in my backyard too where once there was a bare-earth garden. It reminds me a little of purple nutsedge, but the blades are different, so I very much doubt it's purple nutsedge. I'd sure like to know what that stuff is too. That's an excellent photograph you took. I pulled a couple of these out of the ground a few days ago, and I guess there are 2 or 3 more left to pull. If it's a grass, maybe I should keep it, but it just looks out of place like a weedy thing. |

| It is of the Bunching Grass category and my guess is Orchard Grass or possibly one of the Fescues. |
