Last Tuesday I laid out 1500 sq ft of sod (used starter fertilizer before installing and made sure grade was good.

After I laid the SOD i put on the sprinkler timers to water at 10 min at 5am and 10 min at Noon. Every day. So far its been 5 days and the lawn is looking sort of brown and around some of the edges of the sod.

One problem I had run into was that my sprinklers are messed up and watered twice as much as it was supposed to. So basically 40 mins the whole day.

After I fixed the issue 2 full watering days of 40 mins had gone by. I cut it down to 20 mins a day for the last 3 days. But I just feel that its not growing as well as it should.

Its been 80-85 degrees out here for the past week. Ive lifted up the SOD in a few places to make sure it isnt puddling but is there anything else I can do to check? Would pictures help?
