I had skunk damage due to grubs on my sod not to long ago. That cause my sod to be extremely unleveled. So I sprayed a grub killer. It seemed to have done a good job. I proceeded with adding 2 inches of new top soil and reseeding. I reseeded with Penningtons KBG. The new seedlings have germinated about a week ago. And now the stupid skunk seems to be back tearing more holes. I sprayed the grub killer again today. But now I am not sure whether my established grass will come back due to the skunk damage. Will the grass grow back? Btw this lawn is new and was planted this year with a new home.

I'm not sure whether you may be able to see the affected areas as I have raked the holes in. But basically everywhere where you don't see grass has been affected. So will it be back? Or is it even to late to overseed again anyway?
