Mother in law has got this all in her Bermuda. Can anyone tell us the best remedy for this weed?

Wild violets??? I'll let someone else confirm. I have a couple spots in my yard which I'm almost sure is some violets.

From what I've read a non selective herbicide is how to go. maybe brushing Round-Up or similar on the leaves.

Thank you! I looked up some images and that appears to be what she has. I have not seen them bloom, but they look very similar. Also looks almost impossible to get rid of!

RE: Help identify this weed please

Yes, those are definitely wild violets and you are in for a fight to get rid of them. I had them invade my lawn this year and after fighting them since spring I gave in and used Roundup on the entire yard. I started out using triclopyr which put a really big dent in them however that will kill out your bermuda. Not really sure what will work. Metsulfuron is what they recommend for wild violets in bermuda but I have no experience with that.
