Fescue over fertilized?

I live in NC and applied lime and Scott's Turfbuilder southern lawn food (32-10-2 I think) in mid October. The lawn was originally sodded in late April, so it was fairly healthy coming into the Fall. I applied fert at 1 pound nitrogen per 1000 sq ft., at a half application per pass so made two passes. However I may have made an extra pass down the middle of my backyard at the end. Now the grass in the middle strip looks very yellow while the areas towards the edge, along with my front and side yard are all green. The yard gets little traffic. Did I over fertilize and burn the yard, or is something else going on? What should I do now? I want to do a winter application for Spring green up but am worried I will make it worse.
