Engine starts and runs well on full choke or idle speed only. Anything else it stalls within two seconds. I've loosened the cap; cleaned the bowl and tried, as best I oculd to blow out carb ports; tightened manifold bolts; plenty of gas seems to be gravity fed through line. Should I remove carb and boil or whatever to thoroughly clean? Less than 100 hours. 3 years old.

Flahill,

While I have that motor on my Craftman rider, I haven't had that problem.
On a snowblower this winter with a Tecumseh I did; it was all clogged up inside the carb due to my neighbors lack of maintenance. (old fuel).

You may be able to clean it in place with the bowl removed underneath the carb. I used carb cleaner in every hole that I could find, let it sit a while and blew it with compressed air. Eventually the trash all came out and the thing runs great now.

Hope that this helps.
