The carb will have numbers on it that you can basically take to a saw dealer or look up online and either order a kit or even a replacement carb for. Fuel line and filters are likely needed too. Feel free to post the numbers here.

As Tom has advised simple Model or Serial numbers will help with sourcing . Also the Carb Manufacturer I.D. number will enable sourcing of carb kits . Homelite Saw and Trimmer parts are available readily online.

Also, check that the muffler's spark arrester is not all clogged up with carbon. Easy to check and clean and it will keep it from running. Usually gives you more problems at full throttle then idle, but doesn't hurt to check it before you dive into the carb.
