I have heard great things about Honda and Toro mowers. If you are looking to have all the work/service done by someone else buy them from a dealer instead of the big box stores.

Hi. I can do basic things like tune ups and oil changes. I'm more concerned about a warranty issue coming up and they tell me to bring it in which would could be 60 miles away. I'm 53 and no pickup truck.

The Hrs216sda is a good choice.
Now you ask about the bagging.
I feel if you purchased the HRR216K9VYA you would be a lot happier.
Reasons more speeds lever to go from bag to mulch. You can set it to cut leaves better.
I like the plastic frames , but they are pricey.

I see that one has the blade stop which might be nice.

Yes, You can keep the engine running while changing the bag or picking up a item in the way. And it runs safe.
Also the flywheel is heavier which allows the engine to run smoother.

I'd go to a toro dealer and look at the latest PP...the dealer model not the HD model. I have had mine 12 years and it outperforms Pop's $299 HD Honda in terms of mulching. I call his Honda the vomitator because it spews so much grass (mulch) along side the wheel as it mows. Yes his blade is on right. Just my opionion but I'd try both on grass of similar height you will be mowing...and if you are hung up on Honda...the Toro is available with a honda engine!
