| Please don't yell at me and tell me to put this on the "tool" forum - I will if I have to. I have a model 21083. Couldn't find anything on the web telling me what kind of trimmer string to use. I took it apart and it looks like it takes those one piece clip on strings. Ideas. |

| Your trimmer uses 0.065 diameter string; you can buy a roll and wind it onto the spool you have. I believe (but not certain) that the part number of the new spool is 249855 - about $6 at Lowes. If buying a new pre-wound spool, take your old one with you to compare and make sure that the 249855 is the right one. |
