Pricing seems high. I think this had the single cylinder Courage engine? The earlier versions (they came out in 2006 I think) would develop a crack in the block and leak. Not all did, but maybe this one did and was short blocked.So if it was shortied in the last 2 years, it should have the new reinforced block. If the transmissions were quiet, equally responsive so it drove well and the rest looked and sounded good- I'd say 1000 -1100 would be good money IF it had the engine updated.
If this is your first zero, these have 2 transmissions and they are not the heaviest duty versions. Many of this year are still driving strong today, but when they fail- it is not cheap.
A rule of thumb is the OPE depreciates about 20% a year until they get to a point that it has value of something that starts, runs and cuts. Kind of like that 1000$ car the gotta find a way to work person drives. There are OPE bluebooks, but using this logic a 2600$ machine new used 6 seasons is a good value at ~700$ with 250-300 or so hours on the clock. Prepped and ready to go adds $. This one could be worth more if the engine was replaced / updated and you essentially won't be putting big $ into it. Hopefully. If used zeros are a tough find, the price goes up.
