Gravely advice

I came to this site over 10 years ago for advice on my last mower. I ended up buying a new Scott's (JD) 1742.5 and it has been a great mower.
So I'm coming here now to research my next mower.
I am dealing on a Gravely 252z with a Kawasaki 26HP motor/54" deck. I think it's a 2008??
It was owned by the municipality that I work for, so I know it has been well cared for with 780 hours.
I will be using it for my 1.5 acres at home...a pretty easy life for this mower, I would think.
So, What should issues, if any, should I watch for with this mower?
The local dealer is servicing and cleaning the unit up before I take delivery.
Thanks for your help...now and then.

| I think your best source of information will be the servicing dealer. If you will be maintaining this yourself or not, have them point out areas to be kept clean, lubed, things to do in between services etc. It would be great to have them show you how to access the underside of the deck. Seek out the operator's manual as well. Your getting a nice ride. Here's to spring! |
