| A friend of mine has a Gravely self propelled rear drive 21" deck mower that he is willing to sell me for $400. He says it is about 4 seasons old, but has less than average hours. It looks like it is in pretty good shape, it has a Honda 5.5 engine, a bag, slightly taller rear wheels, and a decal that reads "Gravely Commercial" on the top of the deck. Anyone have any thoughts on this offer? |

| The offer itself is probably fine if the mower is in great shape and what you want / need. You would have to compare to new as far as features and pricing. PE lose about 20% of value a year. Is this mower basically an enhanced Ariens w/ the casters in front? My experience w/ the Ariens design is that, while they are a sturdy mower- there are much easier to use mowers. Some will certainly argue that the casters are a benefit though. |
