Gravely Commercial Walk Behind

A friend of mine has a Gravely self propelled rear drive 21" deck mower that he is willing to sell me for $400. He says it is about 4 seasons old, but has less than average hours. It looks like it is in pretty good shape, it has a Honda 5.5 engine, a bag, slightly taller rear wheels, and a decal that reads "Gravely Commercial" on the top of the deck. Anyone have any thoughts on this offer?

The offer itself is probably fine if the mower is in great shape and what you want / need. You would have to compare to new as far as features and pricing. PE lose about 20% of value a year. Is this mower basically an enhanced Ariens w/ the casters in front? My experience w/ the Ariens design is that, while they are a sturdy mower- there are much easier to use mowers. Some will certainly argue that the casters are a benefit though.
