| Hi.. I have a Generac pressure washer (about 7 years old) w/ a B&S quantum engine that won't start. It has fresh gas and oil and air filter is clean. I pulled the cord and it ran for about a second or two and then quit. It now does nothing when I pull the cord. I then noticed it had a crack in the plastic gas tank and fuel was leaking out.
I was wondering if the cracked tank could have anything to do with it not starting ? Thanks.

| No, but some of those tanks were replaced under warranty for cracking. Contact a dealer and see if yours is one of them. |

| O.k thanks. At least now I know that isn't the problem. I was just going to go out and buy a new tank but now I'll definitely check about the warranty to see if it's covered. Thanks again. |
