Garden Way Tuff-Cut 22' Parts

If you could help- I've got a old high wheel Garden Way Brushcutter/Mower. I bought it, used it, broke it. The spindle bearing just gave out and smapped the blade holding bolt. They're most likely well over 20 years so I rather expected it.
I gave the spindle to a machine shop to redo it. They removed the snapped off bolt and re-threaded the shaft -crooked then they installed the wrong bearings. It's now a paperweight.
I'd like to find a replacement spindle and continue to use the mower. I'd buy an NOS OR used unit or a spindle off (insert viable other brand replacement here) another deck as long as it fits, is newer and has replacement parts available.
I don't trust Jack's Small Engine as they either don't have what I want or they send me the wrong part. Not a lot of success there. Nice guys but that doesn't get me the parts I need. So does anyone have any ideas about where to look or where to call? I'm stumped (small joke there). I realize it's a pain but I have a good deck and engine and I don't have the $$ for a new DR or OutBack or Swisher. ANY ideas are gratefully accepted. Thanks, M.

Garden Way disappeared in the 90's so finding parts is going to be a chore. You have a good mower, I used a similar unit to mow an area that had not been leveled after heavy equipment had run over. The machine worked very well, beat carrying a heavy brush cutter.

As per intelligent suggestion, I've posted a few images of the full unit and the spindle on Photobucket. As you can see it's not in awful shape so I'd like to fix it. My current thought is that there are hundreds of spindle configurations for all manner of machines. If I become a pest at enough parts departments I'll eventually find a spindle that fits the basic dimensions from some machine.
I'm including the links here because there are two of them -

It looks like they're a copy paste situation-my apologies and thanks for bearing with me.

Same here wisconson usa garden way site sent me to troybuilt site. Contaacted them only pivot wheel assembly available. Still looking thinking of building bearing assy. myself if i can find bearings to fit a pipe. I can weld to a flange to make unit useable again. Will post if i do so you can contact for a reference on parts availability and where to get them.
