 o
new Ariens snowblower - 'leaking' oil?

I just got a new Ariens Deluxe 28 (they don't list hp anymore, but it's the 8hp equivalent). I changed the oil afer the first 10 (I think) hours, based on the instructions in the manual. I noticed last night that there was a small stream of oil that looked to be coming from the bottom side of the engine. I double-checked the tightness of the drain plug - it wasn't coming from here. We just got dumped on with 19" of wet heavy snow, so the machine was really working to get through it. I don't know if there's some sort of oil overflow on these engines & it "puked out" or if I have a real problem. any suggestions?

Check the oil level. May be overfilled.

that was my thought, but I filled to what the manual recommended - .9 quarts. If it was overfilled, I'm not going to blow out any seals or anything am I?
