Electrolux M3540PD Mower

Hi,

Thanks for reading this post. I bought this mower on ebay. I'm trying to find out whether it needs oil or not. The mower didn't come with an instruction manual. I have found one:

however it doesn't make any reference to oil. I added a little unleaded earlier and started it successfully. However I stopped quickly as I don't want to damage the engine.

Does anyone have the full manual and know where to add the oil or do I mix it in with the unleaded at a certain ratio?

Unlikely you mix the gas & oil, however it "appears" you are on the "other" side of the pond.
Maybe they still sell 2 stroke engines there?

It boils down to WHAT engine you have.
Your "manual" lists an oil filler cap & drain plug on page 3.
That would mean it's a 4 stroke and you DON'T mix gas & oil.

See if the fill cap has a dip stick attached to it. If so, it should have min/max marks.

Which engine is it? Briggs or??????
