| Hi, Thanks for reading this post. I bought this mower on ebay. I'm trying to find out whether it needs oil or not. The mower didn't come with an instruction manual. I have found one: http://diplo-best.com/314.php?k=18b37c6ba959b84ff3c17770e917aa44&ID=93 3304&q=MCCULLOCH M3540PD however it doesn't make any reference to oil. I added a little unleaded earlier and started it successfully. However I stopped quickly as I don't want to damage the engine. Does anyone have the full manual and know where to add the oil or do I mix it in with the unleaded at a certain ratio? Thanks in advance Rob |

| Unlikely you mix the gas & oil, however it "appears" you are on the "other" side of the pond. Maybe they still sell 2 stroke engines there? It boils down to WHAT engine you have. See if the fill cap has a dip stick attached to it. If so, it should have min/max marks. Which engine is it? Briggs or?????? |
