I have not seen them, but as Gravely has been built by Ariens for a spell- my guess is it is a re-badged Ariens. The Ariens of that nature were built quite solid, the drives were dependable as well. I'm basing that on units that are decade old plus. Home Depot got a lot of them out there too for Ariens back then. Best advice is to get behind one and see if you like it. I'm sure some folks think it's the best thing since sliced bread, but generally they seem cumbersome to many who use them.

Actually, since I wrote this, I was passing through the lawn dept of Sears, and saw their version of this type of mower. It seemed maneuverable enough, but one of the swivel wheels kept hanging up. The big seller to me is being able to "steer" around obstacles instead of lifting and jockeying. Will look for others to see what they're like. Anyone know how durable Graves drive system is?
