Is it possible for me to use my 1984 Toro 20672 mower as a mulcher (w/o bag or chute deflector installed)? If not - what other parts do I need to make this mower truly mulch-capable? Thank you,

| Years ago, you used to be able to install an actual recycler kit complete w/ kickers- though I doubt they are available anymore. Furthermore, I wouldn't suggest it due to the the low rpm, low horsepower 25 year old engine on the machine. You can get a gator style blade and a probably a plug for the tunnel if desired. Really, a sharp blade and a clean deck- just drop the handle down and it will mulch- just not like a Super Recycler will. That's how they were intended to mulch. |
