This mower is 6 years old. I've had a hard time starting the last two years. I was reading about valve adjustments on this forum. I have a B&S 18 hp intec. The battery is new. It will turn over until it hits compression storke. I can turn it by hand past that area. Can anyone send me info on how to adjust the valves to allow for starting? This motor is on a Craftsman 42" cut Riding mower. Thanks

Yes, I have detailed instructions on adjusting the valves at address below, put in proper format and remind me. I am experiencing ISP trouble so if you don't hear, I am not ignoring you. Walt Conner

Try this/ Stand directly over the motor squat down and blow out a big fart while holding a lighter next to your ass. Works everytime.
