| All,
I have a Tru-Cut 20 inch Homeowners unit that i've owned for about 5 years. I recently got it back from being sharpened but mistakenly did not have them adjust the clutch or self propel. I can not locate my manual to see if there are instructions for this in it but does anyone know if this is simple enough to do for a DIY'er? If so can you include instructions? thanks all!

| I'm not sure about the homeowner unit. If it's the same as mine, you need two 1 inch wrenches. One needs to be thin. I bought the cheapest wrench I could find and ground it down. There are two nuts side by side. Back one off, tighten the other, then tighten the first one back. I have no mechanical skills but had no trouble adjusting mine, once I made my thin wrench. |
