I have alot of little spaces between various things in my yard and would love to have a very small lawn mower (preferably electric). Has anyone ever seen or heard of one?
(By small, I mean something less than a ft sq.
Thanks.

Can you use a string trimmer?

Bunton used to make a 12" rotary mower for cemetery use mowing around monuments. Also sold under Goodall name. Model B-12 and G-12. Been out of production for some time, so Canguy's suggestion to use weedeater may be only practical solution.

You might be lucky and locate one on Ebay or Craigslist.

Thanks everyone,
The string trimmer seems to likely do too much damage, since the spaces are so small. I suppose I can look for a cordless long-handled trimmer, but I would prefer something that wasn't so hard on my hands and fingers. (arthritis).
Seems like if they can make something small like the mantis tiller, they could make a really small lawnmower. But there's probably too much demand for them.

Maybe I could take the cover off a small fan with metal blades and try that. haha

thanks for your help.

They make cordless grass shears and Toro has one that snaps into a wheeled handle that you can use standing up. I keep it for doing really neat trimming around objects that I do not want scratched/eroded by the string trimmer, like vinyl/aluminm trim, edging or wood mail box post.

isnt the Neuton electric a 14" ?

RE: Mini lawn mower?

Most string trimmer damage (scalping, removing paint from poles, removing bark from trees, etc.) is caused by lazy or incorrect operation (usually by professional landscapers who trim after they mow when they're tired and anxious to go home). If you're careful with your use of a string trimmer, it shouldn't do any damage at all.

The mini mower has a 13" cutting width. It is made by Razarsharp.

Cheasapeake: Probably a little difficult when the individual has arthritis as the OP has indicated Dude !
