 o
Gas Leaking from Toro Air Filter

I have gas leaking from my air filter on my 2 cycle Toro. I suspect it has to do with the carburetor, so I have that soaking in carburetor cleaner right now. I didn't hear any liquid in the floater. Any other suggestions to stop the leak would be greatly appreciated.

Debris holding the float valve open or a defect in the valve or seat. An inline fuel valve is a good addition on these.

What kind of Toro mower has a 2 cycle engine?

I bought one in 1984-2 cycle

Generally a sought after commercial mower performer, most times the Toro marketed Suzuki engine is what is thought of as a Toro 2 stroke. They did screw a Lawnboy mill on a tin lizzy for a limited time if my memory isn't failing.
