I'm working on a Toro 20684 from around 1988 that I snagged from someone as a give-away. In the process of diagnosing it, I discovered that the part of the spark plug wire that attaches to the end of the plug (i.e. the part under the boot) is broken. The wire itself from the ignition seems to be fine.

Any suggestions on how to attach the wire to the end of the plug? A replacement part including the ignition module is $162 and that's a bit much for a 22 year old mower, aluminum deck or not.
