| Any sugestion on the best 21" mower for under $300.00? I'm not looking for a self propelled. I noticed you can get some with a Honda engine for under $250.00. Are the Honda's better then the Briggs? Any help would be great. |

| The engine is only part of the story. Briggs or Honda will serve you well with reasonable maintenance. The deck, blade, and bag design are more important. I have a Honda powered MTD that runs very well but does not cut and bag worth a darn. It stays in the shed, I am trying to get rid of it. My mower of choice is an old Honda HRA215. |
