Best push Mower for under $300?

Any sugestion on the best 21" mower for under $300.00? I'm not looking for a self propelled. I noticed you can get some with a Honda engine for under $250.00. Are the Honda's better then the Briggs? Any help would be great.

The engine is only part of the story. Briggs or Honda will serve you well with reasonable maintenance.
The deck, blade, and bag design are more important. I have a Honda powered MTD that runs very well but does not cut and bag worth a darn. It stays in the shed, I am trying to get rid of it. My mower of choice is an old Honda HRA215.
