I have a 6 speed Craftsman 12hp Briggs and Stratton lawn tractor that is pretty old. It has worked perfect and was a hand-me-down from a good friend. It's been painted so I cannot see the model number. Anyway, as I mentioned it's been a very strong tractor and then all of a sudden one day the clutch seemed to "disconnect" It loosely falls forward and backwards. I looked underneath and its pulling the rod forward and is pulling the mechanism at the transmission. I'm not suuuper mechanically inclined. Just looking for a little guidance and wondering if this is a potential major repair. Thanks!
