| Friend took his tiller to the shop(Would start but not stay running)They quoted him $100.and at least 3 weeks cause they are busy.Well,guess who he brought it too.Have not tried to start it yet but he says it starts but will not stay running.I am assuming,clean the carb and gas tank,and replace the diaphram?Any other info I should know about?Looked in gas tank and it has foam inside.Some kind of filtering material?I have never seen this.Briggs #137202 T#0116 01 C#970502yc(Horizontal)Was it made in 1997?He said it was a couple of years old. |

| It is a 97. The fuel pump diaphragm has likely hardened. Has it been sitting with old gas? The foam was factory installed on certain models. |
