| The stihl FS55R will not open up when you try to give it full throttle it dies, I rebuilt the Zama Carb and it still does the same thing. |

| Check the muffler and cylinder port, may be clogged with carbon. |

| Thanks romore I took the muffler off and cleaned the carbon out of the port and it fired up and ran great and then i put the muffler back on and the same problem happen. So i took out the spark arrester screen out and it cranked right up and runs great now, would it be ok to run it like that or do i need to pick one up tomorrow? |

| You can clean the crud off a spark arrestor screen by heating it up with a propane torch. A spark arrestor is only required by the forestry service where sparks may cause a fire. |
