| I have been having this problem for a while. My mower starts right up and usually runs fine until I turn it off. Once I turn it off it won' t start again until it has cooled own. Recently the mower will quit after it has been running for a while. Someone told me the coil might be failing when it gets hot. I can't seem to determine if it even has a coil or where it is. I have read that some of these engines use a smart spark system instead. any of this make sense to anyone? What do I need to look for?

| Check for spark at the plug when the problem occurs. Best to check the spark with a cold engine first, so you know what it SHOULD look like. |
