Toro Zero Turn

I have a Toro Zero Turn mower (z4235). I have had the mower for 3 years and this year I noticed that it leaves a trail of clippings right in the middle of the cutting path, It's as if it is not ejecting all the grass. Blades are sharp and I am not cutting a large amount off the lawn. Cutting height is at 3.5" in Ky Bluegrass. Any thoughts on this?

I would look under the deck to see if any grass build-up would cause a restriction to the air flow. Then check for a large gap between the blade tips. Check the belt for glazing or slippage and the pulleys. Is the engine rpm up where it should be? As a last resort, replace the blades.
