| I have a briggs and staton 18hp twin cylinder engine. I have took the carb. apart and cleaned it twice and still have to pull the choke half way out to get it to run smooth what could be them problem? |

| Here are a couple of ideas. inspect the vacuum hose located between the crankcase and the carburetor fuel pump. If you see cracks, replace. Install clamps on both ends of the hose. Look for cracks in the fuel hose that connects the fuel tank to the carburetor. Look around the fuel filter for loose hose connections. If the fuel hose is hard, it would be a good time to replace it. loosen the fuel cap in case the vent is bad. If you have kids, look in the fuel tank to make sure they were not servicing the tank with "rocks". If you don't find something, the carburetor may still have a problem. |
