Hi, I also have a similar problem as hdxl2000 (Rob) had some time ago… but when I place the lawnboy mower on it’s side to look underneath, the fuel seems to drip from my muffler. The fuel is seen actually dripping off the sides of the muffler. After it sits all day or a couple of days… you will see a large size fuel puddle on the ground. I have a Lawn Boy walking mower (model # 5247) quiet old… but I’d like to keep it… if it’s salvageable. Do you know of any video site that shows how to correct this problem? Is it the air seal? It runs with a lot of smoke and after about 15min. of running the motor… it begins to run slower. Thanks, - trez |

| "you will see a large size fuel puddle on the ground." "Quick and dirty fix is to install a fuel shut off." Ditto, actually, most of these old LBs had a fuel shut off. Walt Conner |
